Are your tiny plants real?

Yes, these are real, live plants! They grow just like any other succulent.

Yes, they grow slowly due to the tiny pots, similar to bonsai.

With proper care, these tiny plants can live as long as any other succulent. Some of our original plants have been thriving in their tiny pots for over a year. Once repotted, they can grow into full-sized succulents.

When you adopt a plant, you’ll receive a certificate of adoption. The kit encourages you to name, feed, and care for your tiny plant!

We grow them! The small pots limit the amount of nutrients the plants get, which slows their growth and keeps them tiny.

We make them ourselves!

We design and manufacture them in San Diego.

Absolutely! Repotting helps them grow faster into regular-sized succulents. You can even propagate new tiny plants by taking a leaf from a full-sized plant and replanting it in a tiny pot.

Plant Adoption & Ordering

How long does it take for my order to ship?

We currently ship our Tiny Plant Adoption Kits in batches. Please refer to the specific adoption listing page for the next scheduled batch shipment date.

Once your plant is ready for its new home, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Refill kits typically ship within 5–7 business days—unless they’re ordered with a Tiny Plant Adoption Kit. In that case, your entire order will ship together on the next batch shipment date.

If you’d prefer to receive your Refill Kit sooner, we recommend placing a separate order.

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or refunds. All adoptions are FINAL. Please review the adoption listing page and our policies prior your transaction if you have any questions or concerns. Every item is carefully inspected before being made available for adoption. If your plant doesn't look too well, send us a picture and we'll help you figure out what's wrong.

Yes, orders can be cancelled only up until the item has been shipped. Please email us at info@succufarm.com for assistance.

You will receive automated confirmation emails to the address provided at checkout. Please check your spam folder, as our emails may have ended up there. To ensure future communications reach your inbox, kindly mark our emails as 'Not Spam'.

Your package should be retrieved as soon as possible. We recommend bringing it inside on the day of delivery, especially in areas with extreme weather conditions.

If you adopted a thimble cactus, it can stay in its adoption box for up to 2 weeks without light or water, and it will be just fine during that time.

All other plants will require more immediate care upon arrival. If you're planning to gift your tiny plant, consider removing it from the adoption box to provide water and light until you're ready to give it away.

While these kits are cute and fun, they’re designed for display and gentle care — not play. Some parts are small, delicate, or pointy. They may be suitable for ages 7+ or with adult supervision.

⚠️Not recommended for any children under 3 due to choking hazards.

While our kits are meant for humans to enjoy, we know pets can be curious. Some plants and materials may be harmful if chewed or ingested, so we recommend keeping your tiny plants out of reach of pets — just to be safe.

Plant Care

Can they survive without much sunlight?

Yes, they’re adaptable to low-light environments, like offices with artificial light. However, for the best growth, place them in bright, indirect sunlight. A window sill with indirect light is a foolproof spot for most plants in our collection.

If you adopted a thimble cactus, you can wait up to two weeks! For all other plants, please water them as soon as you receive them.

If you adopted a thimble cactus, it requires just a few drops of water every two weeks.

For all other plants, water them once a week on average. Water generously to ensure the entire soil is moist. These tiny pots make it difficult to overwater, as the water evaporates quickly. For more details, please refer to our Care Instructions for more details.

Not all plants need pruning. If you have a leafy plant, remove any dead or yellowing leaves to keep it healthy. If it grows too tall, a light trim can help it branch out beautifully.

Gently reposition it in its pot and use any extra soil provided to support the plant. Tweezers can be helpful for delicate adjustments.

Please feel free to email us at info@succufarm.com as soon as you notice your plant isn't doing well. Let us know what has been happening, when you first noticed the change, and be sure to include a photo so we can assess the situation and provide assistance. While you await our response, we encourage you to review the Care Instructions as well.
